Reviews for "Pretentious Game 5"

Now is exactly why I loved Thomas was Alone and hated Super Meat Boy, if the game doesn't talk you to, then its not a real game.

This game is much more hopeful and uplifting than the previous in the series. It is also much shorter. The game is also very easy. Every section has a very simple solution that takes no time at all to figure out.
Despite all this, it is still Pretentious Game. If you liked the previous in the series, it is very likely you will enjoy this.

amazing execution of a simple premise.

the logic puzzles were a lot of fun and some being challenging, people saying the mountain puzzle doesn't work but you have to jump at it, you can't push something you're standing on.
though the border level is annoying noting there's no walls under the stage stopping you from falling off when you go far even though you have to go out of visibility to complete it and the waiting one is just boring.

It's a great game, but the mountain level doesn't work. I've loved your previous submissions and I'm sad I can't get past this one.

I'm so endlessly impressed with your ability to take simple elements, and turn them into something amazing. It's so hard to strike the balance between engaging the player and minimalist aesthetic, but you do it very well. Your writing is very good, the hints are always perfectly balanced to be fair but also tricky.

I also want to take a moment to compliment your music choices. The music in this game was perfectly chosen, and really helps to provide a more complete experience. The music wasn't overly busy or complex, but also wasn't annoyingly repetitive. Like the other elements of the game, the music was a simple thing executed perfectly. I really appreciate how clean and smooth this game is in every way.

This whole series has been really awesome, and if possible they just keep getting better. Thanks for an amazing set of really fun games to play. As always, I'll be looking forward to your next creation.
