Reviews for "Valley of Challenge"

I like the simple quests on each area of the map, its a classic style of RPG that I loved. The Hero's are really cute selection. The monsters are very interesting and I like the move lists you gave them. You did a great job. only issues are a bit slow at times and their is no sound for me, but I still love the game WONDERFUL JOB <3

FernandoSacchetto responds:

Thanks for the kind words! The problem with the sound might be due to connection slowness (whether on your end or on Newgrounds), since all game files are downloaded on-demand, and sound/music tend to be downloaded last.

Hello,

So far which is not very, I quite enjoy this game. The gameplay and characters are nice, thanks to RPG Maker, and the author made a nice introduction of the party and why they are where they are. It is easy but it works.

However, the lag is painful. On the worldmap there is a lot of it, sometimes bordering on freezing. (I use Firefox lastest version).

Thanks again for your work.

Have a great day.

FernandoSacchetto responds:

Thank you! Since lots of people have commented about slowness in the world map, I'll try to keep world-map events to a minimum in future projects, to see if that ameliorates the issue.

I've been experiencing some bad lag in the overworld map area. In the dungeon and the inn areas I move quickly. (google chrome fyi)

FernandoSacchetto responds:

Thanks for the feedback! I'll test and see if I identify the problem.

Visually especially, this game is just STUNNING! I adore the icon art for each character, as well of the sprites. The movements are smooth and it very quickly grabbed my attention!

FernandoSacchetto responds:

Thanks... credit for the art is due to Kadokawa/Enterbrain, the people behind RPGMaker though ;)

Pretty friggen good, man. Like playing FFII or FFIII but on my PC and without that stupid "Ether" crap. I hated that shit, lol.

FernandoSacchetto responds:

Thanks a lot for the feedback! Yes, FF is a big influence here :D
