Reviews for "Can You Escape Fate? An Escape the Room Game Inspired by Undertale"

its not bad at all , (all of u games look same but i really enjoy this)
the gameplay its really slow i mean D:

SPOILEEEEEEEEEEEEER
Episode 2 Karaoke/Machine/Slo&Mo that take 18 minutes D: how i know?
because i always REC all games i play sometimes i upload the gameplay or just for get a gameplay on my ACTION BUT 18 minutes DAMM!!!

btw i really enjoy the game

chibixi responds:

Thanks so much! Haha I guess my art and game style is pretty consistent throughout my games! Hmm do you think the battles are too slow? Also I would really enjoy seeing a gameplay video of the game :)

Sometimes when I click to start what it should be a bos battle, the game hangs (in chrome) because no text appears. I'm playing it on high quality with slow text options.

chibixi responds:

Hmm do you still see this problem? If so I'll fix it!

Story: Good - 3.75/5

Gameplay: Good, but slow - 3/5

Music: Not annoying - 3/5

Controls: Intuitive - 3.5/5

Puzzles: Basic and easy, could be better - 2.5/5

Overall: Decent little time waster. Slow combat kinda takes you out of it though - 3.5/5

chibixi responds:

Thanks so much! Do you think the battles should be harder/faster? Have you checked out arcade mode? The battles there are much faster.

'A new life'.

Fantastic short(ish) game, with good plot, audio and a nice story. A Must Play!

POSSIBLE SPOILER
A bit about the story I don't understand:
The Chinese zodiac is 12 years long, with an interval of 11 years, so some of the things in the story don't quite match up to the timescale in the dialogue (12 years later, etc.). At the end of a year there's 11 years until the next time the same animal comes up.

chibixi responds:

Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it! Oh my I just realized that haha, I guess the 12 years refers to the end of the year coming back in 12 years time and not necessarily the beginning of the year.
