Reviews for "Toon Escape: Tree House"

This is a functional game with no noticeable bugs. The animation style is functional with nothing truly eye-catching. I'm assuming that this game is geared toward children as all of the puzzles are extremely simple. The game runs along the same lines as every other point-and-click adventure that is currently being produced. For example "Escape the [insert anything here]". The Crimson Room was one of the first games I had played in the escape style and I consider it to be very innovative with a decent amount of difficulty.
The fact that this game has neither music, plot, or any real animations to speak of leaves a void. Most flash games today have a feeling of being mass produced with no original content. I feel like this has fallen under this category.
The adventure/point-and-click genre has little no replay value. Though I treasure the genre there is very little reason to replay a game like this if you know how to solve the puzzles. The main idea is to rack your brain and figure it out. Therefore the inclusion of a walkthrough greatly diminishes the gameplay if the player decides to use it.
Animations/story/sound/music/and gameplay can all be improved upon here. I only intend to provide a constructive criticism of this game. I applaud your effort and encourage you to challenge yourself more in the future.

A simple, "I don't like point and click games." would have been sufficient. If you don't like them, don't play them.

Pretty cool, like the style.

There is one big thing this game could benefit from though: Music. A few more sounds per animation wouldn't hurt either. But, apart from that, nice work.

Good one SD - I liked the marching boots :D

Its not bad, I managed to escape without problems, but the part in the tree is a bit confusing. you go back and forth clicking up. (example in the squirrel screen you must click up to advance, but from that screen you also need to press up to go back to the squirrel screen).

As always, love anything SD puts out.

Thank you!
