a very interesting project, just a pity that so poorly developed. Playing reminded me of the "Santa Claus in Trouble" and "Santa Claus in Trouble Again"

This game is brutal for the player, but cool.

A fairly standard 8-bit style game. I found the controls not quite fine-grained enough to work through some of the obstructing monsters, but perhaps I simply wasn't patient enough.
Wasn't much of a great game but still enjoyable. Aiming the candy throw is a pain in the ass, specially for those 4px wide spiders. The fact that the properly sized spiders are indestructible renders the throw useful only for killing the bats. That, not to mention, that the hitboxes for the small spiders seems to be glitched or just damn small. Out of luck, I managed to kill a small spider just once with a jump but was never able to (intentionally) reproduce the feat. The increasing difficulty on the fifth level with some of these broken mechanics made me give up.
Still, it's kind of enjoyable. Not for me, but this is still better than most stuff that gets uploaded here. I saw potential on the clone feature besides using it to reach higher places and reviving yourself (I like that a lot!). Would be cool if the clone actually followed you around, shooting canes as well.
