I was really loving this game until I was unable to buy or sell anything in the shop. I saw you posted that the bug was fixed, but this is the exact problem I'm having.
Reviews for "An Arduous Journey"
Way to many bugs to give this a higher review score . If the bugs and issues got taken care of this could be a good little game, and I'm holding out on actually rating this submission in hopes that it does .
I encountered every one that enimalx listed , and more . That is until the end of the ruins mission (enemies defeated , clicked end turn ) , to never give me the net campaign/ mission. 3 times through this one, and no way to continue the game.
other bugs -
Much like the skills or movement not activating , occasionally they refused to deactivate without showing an active target area , resulting in a wasted skill or friendly fire.
During a mission earlier on I moved my last living party member into 3 sides of cover thanks to obstructions generated in the battlefield , so the remaining enemies couldn't gang up attacking . Ending my turn this way apparently was a bad move as the enemy turn just stalled no matter what I clicked (no moves/attacks). With no way to continue , I clicked run , and re did the mission .
During several of the ogre missions my short range melee user was hit repeatedly for what should have killed him , but didn't deduct a single hp%.

Thank you for taking the time to comment! More is being added, and all reported bugs have been fixed.
The only aspect I found Arduous about this journey is the lack of sound design, action, and the sheer amount of will-power one requires to not fall asleep whilst playing this game. However, it does show great promise.
I can't really give this a rating because I didn't get very far.
When I tried adding party members, they disappeared after I tried going back to the map. I couldn't even get back to the map.
Help?
How do I even play this game!?
I start out with zero party members. Zero! I can't do a single quest because of this. None of the other buttons, status, shop, or options fixes this.
The hell kind of game is this!?
