I love the idea of this game and how it's made isn't half bad if you consider going for the feel.

Pshh this guy... you fake it til you make it. Shill that art on the corner, bud! Bust into restaurants and drop a small sketch on someones table and scrape for that dough! Little skullhead has a pc, but where's the PC porn? Put those dick pics to good use! And where's the hacks? swiping art to take shortcuts? Where's the hand to hit this really annoying flickering TV?
As a concept, this might be deep. But I'm an idiot, and I don't like thinking too hard. As a game, i dislike it appears a really slow version of the Sims. I can't give any decent score for slow, boring Sims, but I respect you all the same.
Good use of one screen, but didn't feel compelled to keep going. Would prefer that the game extend outside of the TV OVL at game start.

I liked the experience you were going for, but I felt at times it suffered as a game from the decision, the inability to adjust the in-game volume was a big one, and the amount of real time spent looking at the window to recharge happiness made the game a bit of a slog. You certainly nailed the experience through the tone of the game though
