It's got pretty fluid animation and the voice acting is kinda good. The jumpscare was a little cheap (both the Oscar and Mary) and things were a little all over the place (also, ew, puke pizza...) but it's not that bad a game. I just couldn't enjoy it that much. There's a few games, though granted they have lower graphics and no voice acting, that are similar to this. Both this game and those seem to be lacking something, I can't say what exactly but they just don't feel that great. I won't deny this game is good quality, just that I can't say I loved it. Even the ending, while not expected, was kinda "Meh, that happened, who cares?".
Though I CAN say that I chuckled to the dead girlfriend part of the secret phone call. Don't even know why, I just found it funny.
Completed the game, got the ach for that... tbh game could use some hints for the less logical puzzles... started all ower again (few times) to get the other 2 achievments and they dont register for some reason... Called the 6661313 on the phone listened to the morbid story and nothing... beaten the PC game (melt wizard + throw thermal pod). The PC game and the secret phone number could use hints (unless i missed them) instead of players having to google or browse posts to find the answer!
Also the mirror jump scare really doesnt work on people who lack reflexes... gotta think of somethin better than that (instead of going for triggering reflexes, how about somethin actually scary?)

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this game as there's too many bugbears in it.
This is not the usual MouseCity family-friendly affair. It needs trigger warnings (horror/vomit).
How do I view the intro that plays at the start of the walkthrough video?
Most of the characters being unlikeable, including the protagonist.
A lot of the puzzles are too convoluted but that's usual adventure game faire.
The pipe game needs to be solved with highlights and shadows matches up AS WELL as the size of the pipes and the direction of flow. Plus, why am I making my own coffee in a coffee shop?
Surely peanut butter crunch counts as something sweet.
The scariest part of the game: The pizza shop still uses a rotary telephone.
I liked the Big and Bloody Mary (and Scream/Slash) references and the jokes in the halloween shop.
I'm on the fence about all the red herrings (such as the open bathroom stall).
I like the Midnight Cinema Plus especially because it actually "explains" quite a few things.

BTW, the coffee shop is HIGHLY suspicious. I can only assume the bouncer is actually a mafia mobster playing some elaborate protection racket while the guy behind the counter runs credit card scams. That's the only explanation I can think of to make sense of the whole scene.
All in all not a BAD game but I've played better.
