Confused, I get so far and can then go no further, there is nothing to interact with... I presume the game is bugged.

The game is not bugged, you just can't seem to figure it out and that's ok but giving the game a low rating is not necessary. If you can't figure it out, then move on.
It's nice, the puzzles are suitable, but sometimes obvious enough. Graphics are good enough, making everything seems to be in order. Keep up the good work! :)
The medals are not working in my case, I tried replaying for a few times but it's still broken, hope it could be fixed.
Nice to see you trying some new things again. Not just the gameplay, but the way you turned the photo-real look into something more surreal. Multiple paths through the game, with the differing puzzle types spread out across them, increase replay value. A little too much pixel hunting for the interactive spots, but the TAB key always helps there.
