Do you even READ newspapers? The news media is quite frankly the most anarchist and liberal publication known to God. For you to act like the press is owned by the government and corporations is idiotic.

I have to agree with Ranxxx... Your opinions are clearly biased and uninformed.
"Oh, the Media refuses to reveal crappy business practices" - Right, expect on shows like 60 minutes or when newspapers do reports on crappy products or corrupt business practices.
"The Media does whatever the Government Tells it to Do." - Remember Watergate? Or Zippergate? Or any other Government scandal that made the news for months on end?
"The Media are just the President's Yes-Men" - You don't read too many editorials, do you? I can't count the number of journalists who've written critiques of the President's policies or behavior.
In short, your opinions are flawed and misinformed. If anything, the media are as anti-government as they can get away with. And maybe that's for the best.

Yes, thats exactly what press is like in the u.s. Take 9/11 for instance i was watching CNN showing pictures of muslams cheering in what seemed to be joy because of the towers falling to the ground. This later turned out to be a religious festivity that happened months before the planes crashing into the towers. This is only one of many examples of how the so called" free" press warps our point of view.
All this to say that there is no way to see a non-buyest point of view in american news. Being canadian, I am offered many different point of views when it comes to political events happening in the world.
Kudos to fresh laundry for denouncing this form of propaganda. I would have though that you being american(probably) and all, could not have considered different point of views because they are not offered in american news sources.

There's no freedom of the press cuz the ones who have the final say are godforsaken, cowardly sycophants like Ranxx. I'm guessin the reason Ranxx is so wrathful is he just doesn't like the smell where his nose is.
