This is a decent game.. but here's the thing; I kept losing idiotically every time the demon threw his scythe too far and the enemies got ahead of me.
Worse than that - it's near IMPOSSIBLE to NOT throw the scythe because the double click which activates the power is so easily triggered.
Since it took me a couple of level play-through's to figure out this silly game-play pattern I accidentally upgraded the length and fill-up-speed of the the scythe throw power - which made it even HARDER to play the game. Worst thing about this? the game CANNOT be restarted in ANY WAY so the player is able to cancel this decision.
I have to add at this point that the upgrade screen is terribly counter intuitive and took me a bunch of tries to figure out what each upgrade actually does...
So in conclusion, if a feature in the game (an upgradable feature at that....) is the cause of failing at it that's a really bad thing. Though funny thing is? Without this feature making the game so annoying? the game would probably be stupifyingly easy... Which absolutely makes no sense.
Bad game design all-around.
