Reviews for "Nightfall"

This is a great song! I love it!
Is it for sale anywhere? Because I would love to buy it so I could listen to it anytime!

Troisnyx responds:

Not yet, but I'll let you know when it goes on sale. Glad you like it so!

This would have been a good song to play for my young kindergarten class when they were learning about space, not that I'm saying this song is elementary.

I really enjoy the happy spirit of this song. I find it quite uplifting and the chosen synths gives it a young, vibrant vibe. You mentioned this got a radio spot. How did that happen?

Troisnyx responds:

Thank you <3

Here in Britain, lesser-known and indie artists have a system to try for radio plays called BBC Introducing. All the regional BBC stations, as well as the first three major ones (BBC Radio One, Two and Three) take part in this.

It's an online system whereby, like anyone submitting their songs for a gig, you show at least a small body of work. The presenter for your region of origin listens to every single last track submitted via the Introducing page, and sifts through them in order to decide which ones will be played for the Introducing show. The regional stations play the Introducing show between 20:00 and 22:00 on Saturdays. You'll be informed via e-mail when it is listened to, and if it is broadcast.

If the track is exceptionally good, it could even be listened to by the presenters from BBC Radio One, Two and Three, and perhaps even broadcast on some of their shows. I haven't gotten as far as being broadcast by them -- but I have been listened by Radio Three a few times before.

Incidentally, Sean McGinty, the presenter for the Introducing show on BBC Radio Lancashire, is also familiar with Soundskills, a studio run by Lancashire County Council where I go to record live stuff on Mondays. Whatever happens from this point is anyone's guess -- but it's fun to know that I have a second link of sorts to McGinty's show.

I love this! The vocals are so relaxing and nice. Amazing! :D

Are you freaking kidding me right now?

Damn, I think I just fell in love with you. This is almost too good for Newgrounds lol.

Troisnyx responds:

I think I would love to share it anyway. <3 Even if I can't make it downloadable. Well, I guess if BBC Radio played it, it's got to be something, no?

Magic in the air! <3
