Reviews for "Face The Dilemma"

This is a great game. The only issue I have with the artwork is that it was a little difficult to make out some of the images, but I have no problem with the style.

It sounds like the plot isn't yours, but I enjoyed it. It surprised me several times; it seems so mundane at first, but it sucks you in as the characters develop, and the events slowly get more and more intense until that heart-wrenching choice at the end. Well done translating it to picture, even though there are some spelling and grammar errors to correct.

I did see at least one glitch. I decided to save the kid you hit with a car, but at the end, the game told me he died in a hit-and-run, and that it was my fault for fleeing. You might want to check your you story branches and result.

Thank you a lot for the feed-back, it really helps. :)

I'm with Fool, it seems like some scenarios might not be accounted for. Or there's a bug that causes the wrong ending to show up. I called an ambulance and saved the kid's life, but after choosing to save Allison at the bank my ending showed that incident as a lethal hit and run. Seems like there'd be a big difference in endings between the guilt of actively killing someone, and simply dealing with survivor's guilt.

AwesomeAndreas responds:

Ouch, I've no idea why it might be doing that considering I tested it, but I'll go and fix that right now. Thank you

Take this as a second reply... So I've tested the game again, and the choice-paths look fine... The only way I can explain what happened is if there are some actual occasional glitches going on, which don't make much sense in terms of design or even coding. For a bit of behind-the-scenes, the ending-related choice paths should be the following: Leave the kid = Hit and run ending, drugs in the car + help the kid = jail, no drugs + help the kid = good person ending... The other outcomes you guys got are currently mysterious to me, but I'll keep checking stuff. Thanks again.

I feel as if the game might be missing some endings, I decided to stay neutral for most of the game and then I got sentenced for 10 years for drug trafficking even though I never had drugs in my car, I think the game didn't have an ending for my choices, or the main character is secretly a drug addict/dealer.

AwesomeAndreas responds:

Thank you for telling me. The thing is that I tested the game again and the paths seem fine... The only way I can explain what happened to you and the other awesome folks is that it might be some occasional error-thing, which doesn't make much sense from a design perspective... Still, I'll work on that, thanks again.

Am a fan of minimalistic artwork, so this was very enjoyable.

AwesomeAndreas responds:

Haha, thanks a lot, you've got good tastes... :))

you made me cry, but awesome game

AwesomeAndreas responds:

Thank you!... Or I'm sorry... Or both.. :)
