this is really amazing
i love composing classical orchestral peices, but this is astounding.
wqas it done using a keyboards/stage piano?
or could have been rocorded... with an orchestra? wow, the fact that i cant tell should be a great compliment!!
It's all MIDI based using VSTi's. The specific VSTi I used for this piece was Edirol Orchestral.
I step recorded all the parts for the entire piece (same way you graph out the note pitches and lengths on the Piano Roll in FL Studio) even though it's more time consuming that just playing it out on my keyboard, but I step record all my pieces because it makes them cleaner and perfectly on tempo.
Thanks for the review.
bela musica!
i think its quite beautiful! very nice composition. keep it up bro! x
It's all right.
It would have been better if it were a lot slower. It would have showcased the sadness, and you should have added a little more piano to the parts where all you could hear was soft instrumental music. It is good though, and I liked it. It reminds me of something Yoko Shimamura ( Kingdom Hearts ) would do. It sounds like it's had some sort of outside Japanese influence.
Strangely enough, most of my work has Japanese influence, although my other influences are people like James Newton Howard and John Williams.
This piece was also displaying a lonely feeling and not so much outright sadness, and I purposely avoided the use of a piano because I usually use piano in all my more melancholy pieces, and every so often I decide to back away from using it so my pieces don't sound so monotonous.
Thanks for the review.
