Reviews for "Lost Ethereal"

Awesome minimalistic game. It felt like playing a lowrez version of "Another World". You've managed to create a great amosphere. Everything was fitting, the effects, the music and the story progression. I wished to see more particle effects (wind, water, fog) to improve it, but I can't add more to it.

I'm proud that this game reminded you of Another World. Also, particle effects were on the list but cut in the interest of time. The next build will be much more 'animated' in the environments. :)

Great stuff here. i would however would like to see more of a longer and complex story with this mian charater. as well as the mysterious creatures you encounter. a shading on some of the building, monsters. water. etc.. would make this even better. i really enjoyed this soundtrack aswell, something most people dont here in awhile. hopfully we can see and hear more of what you do here. keep up to great work.

great exploration game. Simple and quick to finish without complicated puzzles.

Really good, basic but complex. It's hard to describe this game really. Umm, it's like... it's easy to understand but, it can also be confusing. Once you get past that part that was confusing you're like "Wow, well I'm dumb." If there was anything I could change it would be to show the controls of the screen instead of the description. Maybe describe the objects you get. And in the beginning and end have a sentence or two to sort of help understand and start the story and get closure to end the story. While I do love the style and gives me some nostalgic vibes it is 2016, we have the ability to show so much more while keeping with a simplistic art and gaming style. Hmmm... can't really think of anything else. These are MY OPINIONS and THOUGHTS and IDEAS. If you agree, that's great! If you disagree, that's fine and we can even discuss. If you try to be malicious... we gonna have problems, hermano. Finally, props to Lucre! Great job and cannot wait for the full game!

Pixelated graphics and ambient music set the mood... Sometimes being unsure of what is going on in the beginning of a game can be intriguing and can spur the player forward. Reflected in an easy going pace and dreamy atmosphere we never discover anything concrete, leaving the details to our imagination. This nebulous little game is definitely worth a play through.
