I waited til now to give you my review, because I wanted to rate the ENTIRE series as a whole before I did. With that, I personally, feel that you have the premise of a Manga or Cartoon with this. One that people would obviously, get into. Myself included. Meaning, that you should probably turn this into a series. A movie. Not a game. I mean...Look at all of the responses that you received over this. You've got a solid fan base here. If they're like me, it's mostly over the STORY. NOT the game.
The whole idea of a mysterious app being downloaded on peoples phones inadvertently changing their lives, is AMAZING! The protagonist will come across MANY people in her life (or HIS if you choose to change it). The story can go ANYWHERE. I could even see Sara, (the life long friend), being the antagonist. There are SO many paths that this can go down.
For that, I would have to agree that the story would need a lil revising. Making sure that you don't either misplace pertinent info where it needs to be, or omit it all together. Proofreading it is a MUST! The viewer or player will not only enjoy it better, but understand it better.
Game or story, the only thing that I would caution you about, is the use of religion in school. That is a touchy and grey area. Unless, you've made it known that it's a religious school, I would steer clear of that.
Game wise? There are a lot more changes to be made or things to add. The "turn style" battle system is fine, but it's too cut and dry. As someone once stated, the options are a lil mundane (my choice of words). In other words, WASH, RINSE, REPEAT. Not enough randomness in the battle. I completely understand that you HAD to make it doable for the person to advance in the story, but again, that's what makes it more of a STORY than a GAME. You DIE. Game over. No progression in the story if you lose. I know. This is the end result in a lot of games. However, I believe that it was the STORY part that was grabbing most peoples attention. That's what grabbed mine. I'll have to throw in better graphics too. They're too pixalated. If that's a word. Lol. SIGHT as well as SOUND, makes a HUGE difference. I'm not trying to nit pick. I'm just really looking forward to this taking off. So' I'm NOT gonna hold back on the punches. Lol.
The battles were cool til the end. Understandably, won by MY decisions at first, but ultimately lost by YOURS. A player should have equal footing. Basically, if they win, they win. If they lose, they lose. Based on the player. NOT the creator. Can't call it a game if that's the case. Just an interactive ("MOVIE"). I respect and appreciate "YOUR" ending, but that makes the ending biased. I have to agree with some of the players that the ending should be based on the choices that you make throughout the game. Otherwise, they were pointless. THAT"S what makes it a game. You could still add YOUR ending, but only by going down a certain path. That would seem fair.
Despite the little hiccups in here, I see GREAT potential in this. 5/5 doesn't cut it. YOU!!! Not the game...deserve...MORE!!! You have a master piece in the making. IMHO.
So..all I have to say is...FINAL EPISODE MY ASS!!! Give the fans what they want! You can't give up on us!
By all means, keep up on your other projects. Just DON"T let this one DIE!!
Btw. A lil side note. Alulas 1st opponents resistance and weakness is backwards in THIS episode.
