Reviews for "Legend of Zelda (cinema open)"

What can i say but...

I wish i could shake your hand! This is so awesome it made me cry. Oh how i wish nintendo would allow someone to make a zelda movie. But instead of making a mistake like they did with the mario live action do a 3d animation one and have miyamoto oversee it.

But anyway this is the best! :-)

Peace

Amazing

Im not one to rate music, i usually just skim, but this really caught my attention, and it was great. The slow and low beginning really caught my attention, kind of like entering somewhere unfamiliar to you and as you look around you hear more and more. It steadily transitions to a low sad music, but then changes into a strong and bold rythm. I could definitly imagine this in a zelda game.

Great Work!

I'm surprised this doesn't have a higher score, actually. It really would make a great Zelda cinematic opening. It starts off a little dark and creepy, but soon becomes familiar and bold. I love it.

Setu-Firestorm responds:

Thanks.

Ironically, I had submitted this piece to OC Remix and it was rejected over its short timelength.

That's okay, because it's not the first time they've rejected awesome music, whether by me or other more talented composers. Their judges are too preoccupied with simple nit-picky details that they don't know a great work of art from a hole in the ground.

Thanks for the review.

...Wow...

Simply put, this would make an impressive opening sequence to a LoZ film. It's almost too bad no one (that I'm aware of) is even planning to make a real LoZ film, if there was anyone I'd recommend you as composer for sure (if I *could* make recommendations, of course...)

Setu-Firestorm responds:

Actually, here's the irony. Firstly, there is someone making an indie LoZ film, and I am scoring it (although that's movie soundtrack music in the trailer) as we speak. What's even more interesting is that a nameless fan of mine did recommend me to their producer and that's how I got the job.
