Game is a liitle bit hard for me ;) but It is cool, graphics are very nice!

Holy shit I actually beat it. Anyway I think people would appreciate this game better had it a checkpoint system or difficulty settings. However I do understand that this was a quick project and I look forward to the bigger projects you create :)

Haha, good job! I do agree with the checkpoints, if the game is ever going to be expanded, I'll implement them for sure. I'm working on a bigger project at the moment, but GameMaker as I'm usually using does not have the networking support I want, so I'm making my own engine in Javascript. It's going to take some time, but hopefully it will be worth the while. I'll post updates here on NG, Twitter and FB. Thanks for your review.

Even if the game is very simple the cheerful music sets the mood perfectly The spacebar still brightens the screen and does nothing else, it would be good if it restarted the game. I know it is a short game but I think at least one checkpoint would make it more accessible to players.

Haha, good job. Yes, I'll make spacebar work tonight. I decided not to put in checkpoints since there only is one level, and that the game was a quick project. If I ever make more levels, I'll be sure to implement checkpoints. Thanks for your review Dhall! :)
This is pretty nice. It has a simple motif, which is kinda charming actually. (I don't actually know what a motif is, but I heard my film major friend say it so I'm using it. Probably incorrectly. YOLO.) The little rainbow trail was a nice touch. I have to say though, that the game would probably benefit from having a checkpoint system added. It might just be my ADD (I'm ADD right out the ass) but having to restart constantly makes the poem less memorable for me. I'm not going to lie, I only got to "even though our days smells" and whatever the next part was. Nope. Fun while it lasts, good music, and maybe I just suck at the game but its message will linger in my mind as "what was that poem going to say?" for maybe half an hour before it's forgotten, sadly. Appreciable though, definitely. 4/5

I really like it. Space bar function needs to be fixed though. Accidentally tapped it and it made it impossible to see the game but the game kept playing
