I thought it was great for what it was supposed to do. I give five because it was useful, it did what it was supposed to do, and was still entertaining enough to give you a small sample. Most of the time, people would simply cut off after finishing the initial minigame. However, you actually added something more to the character of the demo that would not be shown in say the full game. People who give one or no stars to something like this don't understand that people put lots and lots of time and effort into making even something as small as this and they are fortunate to have the places like Newgrounds where many people do post free games. As a future game designer myself, I can really appreciate all the thought that went into exactly how much should be made now and released immediately to draw the amount of people needed while still not giving away everything to make for a satisfying experience for those who did buy the full version. So good job. And don't let those low ratings hurt your confidence, just count the money that rolls in and move to the next project. I'm really glad that you're able to turn something that it seems like you really love into something viable enough to support yourself even on a small scale basis for now.

Wow, thanks for the really thoughtful review! Yeah, I really try to make sure that stuff for different mediums (for example, a demo compared to a full game, or an android version etc.) fits it appropriately, even if we have to make new content just for that version.
No worries on the confidence thing, but I don't wanna just count the money as it were like you're all numbers or something; I value each person's opinion/critique on whatever I'm involved with making. You're all people, and so I want to treat you all as such, instead of treating you like you're just dollar signs and nothing else, so to speak.
So even if I make insane money off of this or any other projects I'm working on, if the majority of people feel unsatisfied or unhappy with the game, then I'm doing it wrong. We can't of course please everyone, being realistic, but we do want to make sure that at least the majority of you feel your money and time was well spent.
aaaw too bad i don't happen to have a credit card around to pay up 5 bucks T_T

i liked this demo :)
The demo shows the great voice acting and general rules and aesthetics of the game. That's what I came here for and it was a really nice experience.
