I love every thing about Nine Lives of Claw! The artwork is impeccable! The story-line incredible! The characters are likable and easy to get behind. Loved all the little funny snippets! The part with Claw chasing the red laser had me laughing so hard! Just like a real cat! I also thought the "litter box" room was hilarious! Keep up the fantastic work! I can't wait to see more episodes!
Glad to see this come together after a successful Kickstarter campaign! The final style isn't what I expected from the initial vis dev, but it's still nice to see a proof of concept teaser. Also neat that Jim Cummings was the voice of Naz-T!
Alright so this is REEEEALLY clean art wise. Although Paws eyes are too close together. He seems unfocused and that he loses some expression depth. But, if you're this far into production-- then I realize it's too late to change the design.
The voice acting is very hit or miss. Some characters are forgettable and uninteresting, leaving me to only want to hear Jim Cummings's performance and can't wait for the other characters to get off the screen.
The humor couldn't find its audience. Is it for kids? Is it for 20+ ? Billy Madison quotes then silly slapstick digging to China tropes? It didn't mend well together.
I'm only being this critical, because you clearly have the talent pool to rectify these things. I don't want you to think I didn't think this was incredible, cause I quite enjoyed it. Can't wait to see more!
Not even Jim Cummings' legendary charisma can save this dull, inconsistently-animated tripe.
