Strange indeed, coming from an american :)

Although i disagree on several of the basic principles exposed on the animation (for instance i do not stand for the principle of property, i do not believe in such thing as property) i do think its great to encourage masses to cuestion authority and develope a critical sense of reality, very rare these days in the american media (who as we all know are in charge of the exact opposite, i did saw very michel foucaulthish sorta influence
id suggest this, if you sorta redo it or make new ones try makin them more dynamic, that way it would reach a much wider audience (i think that the sort of ppl who´d look at these animation and say "bo-ring, me wants boobies and beer" is the sort of ppl you guys are trying to reach)
anyway, nice work, ther should be more of these on the internet

Thanks! Er, I'm Canadian, in fact, and I HAVE made a Spanish version, thanks to a good Argentinan friend of mine, which you can view on this board, called Filosofía de la Libertad. I also have French and Portuguese finished and a bunch of other languages in the works.

You are so right in many ways...

The idea of a pefict society dosent sound like its to hard to achive after watching this short.
But the truth is that givin the way pollotics work and people think it may be impossible.
Take our situation in the mid-east its a society whare all thier god-given rights have been stripped away (and this did not happen over night its always been a never ending cycle of violence)and when we try to help them they find that the thoughts of freedome, no war and violence to diferent that they revert back to violence becuse its all they have ever known

Oh I don't need perfection from anybody, just the action of each individual to not interfere with the peaceful choices that others make for themselves, wether it's in what they put into their bodies or who they choose to associate, or not associate with. Too many think that they can handle freedom, but all those other people are maybe a little stupid, evil or insane and need laws to protect them from themselves. Until we can respect our neighbor's non-aggressive choices, we will continue to have what we've got. As to my neighbor's aggressive choices, those that are a physical threat, or deligation of such, they deserve a violent reaction from me, one that may not give them any other choices ever again!

Your philosophy is true but will never happen

Your idea of stopping governments acting on behalf of the majority of people is ludicrous! Who will act out the will of the masses? Human beings in general are too lazy to act out their ideas, therefore your idea of destroying the worlds governments is generally asking humans to stop putting forth their opinions, which people will never stop doing. If governments are not employed to stop the wrongdoers of the world i.e. saddam, then what are we to do but watch the wrongdoers make things worse for their people, however your point about putting people in power for others is a good one, one the Americans have practiced many times, putting Saddam,Shah ( a former dictator of Iran, he was overthrown) and Osama in power and so on.
However if noone polices society then all chaos would let loose, if one does not have power over his inferiors then the inferiors will create problems for themselves, this may be and elitist view but it is a true one, one person must be put in power to sustain order!

Amazingly well done. That had to take a lot of thought before it was made. Great message, it was all true. I don't usually see things like this on Newgrounds and now I wish there were more of them.
