As a suggestion, you could add more ambiance to the scenes to make it seem more livelier. For example; if Root and Digby live in a neighborhood area, you could add the faint sound of people doing mundane household chores (washing cars, lawn mowing, taking out trash) or cars passing by.
All in all, solid work and keep doing your thing man!
