Dang, I must have a really big ego today. I just want to excel at every game I play. This game isn't that good. It's just nice how easy it is! Hey, it's been awhile since I've reviewed something while it was under judgement. Those are a lot of bullets on screen.
You really need to have more detail. The aliens all looked the same. They didn't even seem to be advancing onto you. You just stopped when you were exhausted. It's cool when they all line up at once.
It's pretty fun...well, it's a good start. It's annoying that the movement is on the right and the shooting on the left; I have to play with my arms crossed over. The gameplay is...kind of pointless though. I just stand in the center and shoot upwards relentlessly, every now and then chasing down ONE octopus that escapes my shooting. If you could add some variety to the gameplay, it could be a lot better. (I like the bullet holes and spatters that accumulate.)
Even tho it is a pretty simplistic game overall, its a fun little game to play. I really enjoy the music and the simple style of the game. Things could be added to make it a better experience like enemy variations, different maps, different guns and more power-ups.
