Where is Daymare Town 5???
This game is beautiful in design but way too difficult to play. You have no idea where the little red/green thingies are. Even just a little sparkle where you need to click, a puzzle or even just a rhyme would make it easier than just random cliking. I was able to complete the game after a big headache and a large cup of coffee, but it wouldn't have taken me so long to complete if there was hints to where I need to click.
Very pretty but not as nice as previous efforts.
Thematically this didn't tie in so well to the idea of "find the year" - previous efforts have been seasonally based and you got to find all the parts that made up a year. That was logical.
Some switches also seem "hidden in plain sight", which seems weird - they are in an exposed position, but can only be seen by zooming in. This seems odd when you are already quite zoomed in, and can clearly see the hook or nut or whatever that turns out to have a "secret switch" over it!
No puzzle elements, not even basic ones, which is a shame. Pure pixel hunting. But some people like that kind of thing and this is cute, so three stars.
It's a good game, but you should make a point and puzzle game instead. You'd be really good at that.
