Reviews for "Halfling Tycoon"

eh.

Its good, but it needs to be longer. The dragon was simple, there needs more upgrades, and my steel got reset after a few billion. Add more characters to use to fight like a dragon of your own, a ninja, or a jockey.

The game is pretty enough, but gameplay is very unbalanced. Any player can master most of the game quickly by playing the market. After that, it becomes a tedium of winning battles.

It works, and no bugs (that I can see). The market isn't so much of a bother - after all, some folks just want a short game... but conquest could be quicker.]

As far as atmosphere, the game feels disjointed. It's not an Idle, it's not a Clicker, and it doesn't particularly encourage player interaction. You really need to make a choice between an appeal to casual gamers or active gamers.

The old adage; If you try to make everyone happy, nobody will like it.

My advice (as a critic - not as a fellow game designer); Pick a genre and stick with it. You've got skill, but you lack vision.

Easy to cheese and the bosses are very cheap if that makes any sense. Especially the last dragon with its 10% HP one hit kill. There should be more strategy than just basic kamikaze attacks involving sacrificing half of your crew in order to beat a boss. Upgrade to money ratio needs to be fixed especially since trading post allows for a very easy way to maximize money. Also, I think that the conquest system should be revamped to allow for less grinding on the first boss so one can get a better fighter. If you have equal parts Gunner and Healer you have essentially won the game already if you release ten of each at a time. As others have said, the money should either have a cap or more programming needs to be done to allow for money in the trillions/zillions.

A frustrating clicking game there has many bugs. There are things that can not be purchased, and many upgrades are way too expensive. The combat system is probably the worst part of the game.

The medals work, and I earned them all.
