Reviews for "Zombie And Juliet"

the movement is a bit to slow

This is one of those games where I think the people who made it never even bothered to play it. I can't imagine ANYONE willing to play this as much as you need to grind it. Between the flying monsters that are totally unfair and takes the tiny bit of fun that this game offered out, and the annoyance of having to walk around to upgrade and buy stuff, there is just no way that someone played it and thought that this was worthy of publishing.

An interesting game, even though the commands can be a bit imprecise, especially when jumping. But, other than that, the game has a solid concept and makes you want to play more.

Here's video of a little bit of the character's progression (level 5 to 7)

Overall, I thought this was a great game. It did feel like a bit of a grind, but considering how short it is it wasn't that bad considering it didn't stop me from playing in the least. The style was cute, and I never got tired of the music for the few hours I played. I liked the different kinds of enemies and the various weapons there were. I got all of the achievements and beat the game. I'd love to see where it goes from here in a sequel, perhaps with a bit more to it.

Great game. I've beaten it 3 times, using a different family of weapons each time. I personally found the staff route the easiest, especially after you get the piercing shot.

To beat the game the quickest, I recommend you upgrade 3 levels of Shukuchi, then 3 levels of Soul thrist, then 3 levels of regeneration, then 3 levels of Quick Learner, then Nimble Footsteps. Get the $2000 cheap ring early on to boost HP so you don't die so easily. If you do the above, you'll accumulate souls and exp so fast that you'll afford the best weapons/equipments and beat the game in no time.

I didn't find the game to lag. I have a pretty limited laptop, and set quality to low.

Some suggestions for improvement:

1) Full screen option would be nice.
2) Survival mode!!
3) In Bestiary, the description for Mad Rhinoceros is too long and pushed its stats to outside the visable area.
4) After beating the game, I wanted to go back and get all the achievements. But subsequently, I still had to go through the end-of-game cutscene and credits every time. Would be nice if I could skip the credits after the first time.
5) Demon mentioned at the start of the game about having Juliet and Romeo join his army for 3 years, but seems to have forgotten that by the end of the game. That could be a plothole... or an idea for a subsequent game?

Ok that's it. That was a fun couple hours!
