Reviews for "PLUMBER'S CREED"

I like this. It was fun, and when i started, I wanted to get to the end. A few things to point out:

Pros:
*The mash-up of the 2 games was a good choice, and style was well done.
*The animations on the characters were well done. Like Mario's costume moving as he moved, or how it looked like the koopa was actually shooting a bow.
*Nice progression the levels. Made it more challenging
*Cooldown's were smart, since we all know people can just spam weapon buttons for an easy win :)

Cons:
*Not sure if this is intended, but it seems that hitting the block is a bit glitchy. I cant hit it from the bottom, so the only way to wall jump off it from the side, and that doesn't always work.
*Hiding in the hay bales are a bit overpowered, because u can just take out the enemies while you're invunerable.
*Not to much a problem, but I would have liked to see a nice background, just because it would look nice.

But other than that, it's fun, and you have the mechanics down. You deserve that daily 5th place reward.

Well dang, the first time I played this I had the hardest time. I made use of the mines this time around and didn't exactly blaze through, but it was much more playable. My favorite technique was jumping between buildings dropping a mine along the way, or diving into a haystack while dropping a mine. I do wish this was a larger scrolling game. Hopefully we'll see sequels with characters and quests etc.

This was a lot of fun. You blended Mario gameplay with AC gameplay really well. I'd like to see an expansion or a larger sequel a ton.

the concept is great, and the art and music are very clean. i strongly dislike the delay for the attacks, though. jumping on their heads really doesnt work on the majority of enemies, (sometimes because i think they were supposed to be jump proof, and sometimes it really seemed like it was just glitching) so 5 seconds seems really excessive as the cooldown on our basic attack. i could understand a delay on the mines, but all you've done by forcing us to wait for the knife is just that. we have to sit and hide somewhere for 5 seconds until we can start playing the game again. why???? lol at least reduce it to 2 or 3 seconds. it was always on cooldown when i needed it.

it's unclear which boxes and buildings actually provide a barrier. multiple times now i've jumped over a building and had projectiles follow through the walls and kill me on the other side. also the mines sometimes blow up without dealing any damage.

i felt like level 8 was extremely difficult but the final level only took me one attempt. maybe consider going over it again to give it a bit more of a climax?

anyways tho. this was a fun game. good work

great game black box glitches heavy where ever i step but other than that i really like it
