Interesting animation style, but not very funny. None of the jokes had any real weight to them. Exceptionally weak on writing, though voice acting was decent.

While I agree with some people that I wasn't really struck by this work, mostly because of the jokes falling flat with me, I will not turn this post into a personal attack upon you.
I was waiting for jokes...that was a bad idea...
1 for the animation. You probably don't understand at all the show.
1) EVERY show will have relatable characters. It is what make us watching. It is because of their traits not because "Wow, he works!!!ONE!!! He eats chilli hot dogs!!!11!!""
2) Regular show premiss is really simple. Half of the story is a everyday problem that escalate in a "extreme" way. If you want to paradoy something, learn how and why it works.
3) I prefer regular show over a lot of cartoon trash (ed, edd and eddy, jonnhy test, uncle grandpa, MAD (The animation. The magazine had some good comics) .
You can say that regular show fits the same purpose as old tiny toons but with more gags that revolve nostalgia.
