Reviews for "Time to Escape"

I really loved playing this. The artwork was really nice and I loved the music.
It was cool to unlock all the rooms and the puzzles weren't too hard.
I also liked the in-game solution help.

I loved it!! I am new to point and clicks, but am learning quickly. Your music was awesome. Other games music is so irritating that I have to turn it off. Your puzzles were just hard enough that I had to think, but not so hard that I was frustrated. I love the help directly in the game, and I loved the fact that I did not have to go off site to find it. Very convenient. I did have to go get help once, but that is because of inexperience on my part. The person who said that the game was bad because he could not get out of the help screen did not try very hard. Although he is correct that there should have been a button that said no I do not want to see the walk through, if he had click yes, it would have shown you the first clue. At that point he could of clicked out of it. No biggy there. This is the best game I have played so far.

A good room escaping game with great artwork.

a few points.

1. lose the arrows and magnifying glasses. Is this an escape game or a flow chart?
They take away all semblance of immersion.
2. LOVE LOVE LOVVVVEEEE the 3-d aspect and especially the fact that you can turn objects around 360 as you examine. ;)
3. Lose the ' I CLICKED HERE IT DID NOTHING HAHA' white ring of death on the cursor. See above for why. trust me, the people you want to love your games will do so, if you do what I'm telling you.
4. I've played a lot of these, and the ones that stick in my memory the most are deeply immersive, with rich story, and quite arrowless.
5. Lastly, try to make the interface elements less intrusive. If you are aiming for immersion, obvious interfaces are not the way to go. Although, Skutnik's games are a venerable exception.

;)

I actually fully enjoy this game but I am also fully stuck. It's the part with the bucket and crank. Not sure if it is timed but every time I try to get to get the crank to move it the bucket comes back. Beyond that the music was great. I appreciated it didn't give me all the clues in the help, just the next step. Keep making games, just please explain or fix the bug with the crank. Thank you!
