um it was slightly repetetive and correct me if im wrong but didnt the original space invaders have the white shields neways the sound was dead on.

Played better remakes
But avoided 0 due to mutiple versions though to be honest was too slow.
Pretty fun.
This was pretty fun despite a couple of bugs/design issues.
Collision detection is pretty bad when there's just a single invader buzzing around the playfield. In that situation, about 80% of my hits were ignored.
If a mine drops on you and kills you, you'll respawn directly over the mine, dying again. Better would be to clear all the mines (and shots) before respawning the player. Otherwise, you lose two or thee lives for one mistake.
Great remake!
I enjoyed playing the 2002 version more then 1978, mainly because of the anoying sounds in 1978. I give this a 5/5.
