Reviews for "Inaudible"

I've loved all of your animations on Newgrounds thus far. But as a musician, this one really hits home. I cannot imagine what it would feel like to be deaf. I would probably rather be blind. I know what Beethoven became deaf in his later years, and I wouldn't want to suffer the same fate. Composing would become incresingly more difficult...

As for the animation, I love the scenes you picked to show. Everything was relevant, and bound together nicely. You used this a lot, but one example is when in one scene, the character throws the bottle, and later on, he cleans it up. The angles you used were great!
The music is wonderful as well. It really shows what an impact just one intrument can make (though there was some percussion, but even without it it would've sounded amazingly).

Another thing you did well was the way you chose to play some of the sounds to the audience, but not others.

If I would have to mention something that could be improved, I think it would be that some of the movements felt unnatural (maybe a bit more choppy/jumpy that high budget animations). But I totally get that I can't realistically expect you to tweak every frame to utter perfection, and it removes nothing from the story. The story, which by the way, is simple and effective. You are great at coming up with powerful concepts.

So all in all, brilliant work, and I am eagerly waiting for more of your animations in the future :)

I was almost moved to tears. To be in the same situation as that man would drive me crazy. Not being able to hear the result of the thing of love to do the most would be like me being unable to read the words I type. I'd still do it but it would infuriate me every time I type or write but like him I'd still be driven to do it. One nagging question though: Is he died?

wow...I was not sure what to expect from it, but just wow...The art right away is captivating. The story...The power it holds alone without words and just the bits of sounds and then cutting off to his world as it unfolds before us his daily life a struggle all to showcase what happened to him. To stand up and then fight leading us to that end....

Powerful good sir, just pure powerful. I know a few people who went deaf and I will be showing this to them, having to explain parts of it for sure, but I think they would agree the meaning behind what you have made is truly there.

As a story teller myself, you did what at the very core we do best. If you don't mind I must ask if I may use your tale here and share it via words as well. This it has a very moving effect one that can be translated well if a person uses the real feeling this has.

Wow, this was... I don't think there are words for it...

Honestly, I didn't take to kindly to the art style, but tis subjective, but expressing the protagonists turmoil, pain and frustration without a single word uttered is a rare virtue indeed.

This is sooo great! I really loved the art style and the sound effects are so good! Too bad I don't have headsets. This video made me love my ears a lot. :D
