Reviews for "Monotone"

This is a really complicated puzzle game! It's quite good that I come across games as innovative as this. You just have to experiment with it over and over. I like how you used black and white. I guess it's good social commentary or something. The music is wonderfully soft.

You need that too, this can get hard! It's hard with games that have so much for just one medal. It's great that you can be so difficult with something that looks so simple. I guess I say that a lot. This is great, but hard.

I like puzzle games, and I have to admit, this is a very very good one. When I first saw this game, I thought it was going to be like Nitrome's Yin Yang (Go to google and search it if you don't know what it is), but it was honestly quite better. The use of the white and black squares and them physically cooperating in order to get the spinning things is a very nice concept. The mechanics and physics were really good too. I also liked the minimalistic style and simple, yet difficult gameplay,

A part of me wanted something like a bonus or secret level after finishing the game, but that's that. Anyways, overall, you've got a very awesome game here Primajin, keep up the good work.

Primajin responds:

Glad you liked it :) - I may or may not be making a level pack ;)

is good

Very nice game. The puzzles were intuitive, but I agree with some arguments that at some point it's just "shuffling forward slowly". It also puts a spin on that "videogame love story" idea by slowly making the character self-aware.

Also can't find the third secret spinny thing. None of the last 10 levels have a gap in the upper-left?

This is kinda good, the gravity idea is really cool. The story is kinda shitty tho. You shoud make the blocks bigger tho, the shuffling forward is too slow.

Primajin responds:

It's quicker to jump from character to character than to shuffle.
