Reviews for "MonoChromeleon"

Really good game. The character is too slow making the jumps quite frustrating though.

RyuuseiGames responds:

Thank you! We are seeing what to do with the char speed. :)

Overall not really that bad, though I feel its a bit too short even if its supposed to be a series, some of the jumps are really freaking unfair, a have to be pixel perfect (pun not intended), I had to redo the 1st jump in the third level at least 20 times, I understand that its meant to be challenging but it gets frustrating really fast, and I cant even count the amount of times I went invisible only to reappear right on top of a crazy mono which combined with the unfairness of the jumps almost made me rage quit halfway through the game, I feel that this chapter should have been longer so you could have made me feel more empathy towards the character, it feels kind of rushed in this state, I mean, THIS is the chapter that will make people want to keep playing the series, THIS is the chapter you want to make people anxiously await the next installment, and Im sorry but I dont really feel it.
I will await for the 2nd chapter though just to see if its really worth it, as I see some potencial to this for a good, entertaining story, but I wont be holding my breath.
Keep working though

RyuuseiGames responds:

Thank you! We will work in that tips! Glad to read that.

My keyboard doesn't allow me to do up and left at the same time on the arrow keys. Implement WASD or even numpad controls. Also, the jump difficulty, as has been stated, is ridiculous in some levels. Notably the level where coloured platforms were first introduced.

The half a star comes from the interesting concept. Everything else (not including the graphics, that's part of the concept and kinda required) is bland. I would, however, like to see a sequel with more polish. Better controls, perhaps rebindable controls, the ability to tell where the crap you are when invisible, and balanced difficulty (perhaps get some playtesters) would be the main concerns.

RyuuseiGames responds:

Thank you. Working on it!

It doesn't work.

RyuuseiGames responds:

Yes it work, try another browser. :)
