Reviews for "Crusader Reloaded! (DBZ)"

Nice Job

Nice job, I thought the movie was good, can't wait to see what you are going to add to it, if anything. Ya had me just a bit fooled at first, but I had an idea of what the movie was going to be.

ALRIGHT!

you truly have inspired me to finish my fantasy/action comic.Thank you.By the way I'm a big fan of your first.

You tricked me

I normally hate DBZ, and was a bit reluctant to watch this movie, but after the good reviews it recieved, I figured it must be better then most of the Final Fantasy Rip offs I'm seeing tonight, so I gave it a shot. Well, you tricked me. It wasn't at all like DBZ (Aside from the fireballs and laser beams) and didn't have those annoying pointy haired muscleheads either. Actually, I enjoyed the movie, and was fascinated by the fog effect you created. Definite 4 material on the scale.

Excellent

This is really quite impressive, and leaves your previous Crusader wanting! :)
I really envy your skills with visual effects, your blasts and things are really amazing, unmatched by the other DBZ things in the collection here (save that shot in brutality)
Some things you might want to improve on for me to give you a perfect score -
The characters need some hair. I'm just not a fan of plastered on head hair, even lego men have some extrusion going on - especially DBZ!
Like everyone else is saying more SFX and dialouge with voice would enhance this greatly.
You might also like to look into having a small low alpha value next to the enegry ball, so you get the kinda glow effect - it is really well done in Brutality, and makes the energy balls look much more, real.
keep it up this was excellent, and was a lot longer than expected! Great optimisation there!

It was pretty good, except...

Well, the concept was innovative (with the exception of the DBZ music, moves, etc.) and the fighting seen wasn't bad either, you need to set the movie up more. The introduction was implausibly petite, and not exactly expounding; the audience really doesn't know who is bad or good, or why they are fighting at all, particularly presupposing the audience has doubtless not seen the original. Also, any dialogue at all would drastically enhance both the quality and professionalism of this video. The movie seemed brusque at times because of the lack of dialogue.

DaDocta responds:

thanks, I took that into account.. I might record some dialog.. and I wanted better sound effx but couldn't find any.. however I might add it and resubmit
