Very boring and simple song. Nice mix. It lacks meaningful depth. Think about what the song needs to shine, you can do it. Build your work like you are building a house.

An outpour of emotions is boring? Simplicity implies complexity as well, so I'm not sure how much did you immerse yourself into the track. Each instrument tells a story and a very specific moment during the time it was made. I can understand if it doesn't resonate with you, but I disagree with your statement about not building with bricks, since the creative process allows me to treat my ideas like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. It's your opinion, however, and I respect the fact that you took your time listening to it. Btw, a song should have lyrics in it, this one has none.

Very nice composition. Revealing your innerself. When you listen to yourself you tend to perform good and this is what you have done here. Excellent dynamics as well. Only one thing which is up to the taste to be frank is I don't like the reverb. It is metallic not warm. But it is not undermining the beauty of this song. Anyway keep listening to yourself and we will hear more good in you :)

Thanks for your insight! Indeed, reverb is a matter of taste, but I admit that I'm quite the offender when it comes to adding reverb to acoustic instruments. I generally dislike when orchestral instruments sound dry or with such a minimal amount of reverb that you nearly can't detect it. About the "timbre" of the reverb, well, there's not much I can say there. I'll look upon it further.
Beautiful song! So much emotion in every single note! I can imagine a rainy day with dark clouds hanging overhead :'/ This has to be one of the most powerful songs I have ever heard on Newgrounds or anywhere for that matter! You are an excellent artist and you should definately get far more credit for your work! Keep it up!
