Reviews for "Mysteries of Silent Hill"

Good quality but too simplistic and way to short.

Really nice all around. I liked how you don't always just click an object to interact with it; I would have liked to see more of that. One suggestion: it would be nice to see some sort of description when hovering over inventory items because it was a little hard to tell what they were in some cases. Also really enjoyed the ambient music, it was definitely in the spirit of SH.

A pretty atmospheric escape game! Captured that official Silent Hill eeriness nicely, though living up to such a trademark of ambient doom's a challenging task, it'll never be quite what you hope for with that type of title. Well anyway, it was good! Keep up the good work!

This is a pretty good escape game even if not highly challenging or deeply developed. The atmosphere was great. I kept expecting the reaper-dude to creep up from behind and perpetrate some unspeakable horror upon by character while I was frantically searching the room for clues but he never showed up and so the threat was hollow and that aspect of the game wasted. The music was a wonderful choice and just the right blend of melancholy and rock. I left it playing while I played other ensuing games.

Graphics are great!

Sound effect for receiving an item is good, but not the background noise which sounds like some weird form of breathing. Also, I expected to hear something after inserting a cassette into a radio. It should have some effect on the man standing close to the door who then left.

Game play is somehow confusing and challenging. Most items were identifiable except the one used to illuminate the butterfly specimen. Then, it took me quite some time before I found the radio. The clickable spot was so tiny.
