Okay, I just went through the frustration, and also now understand what common mistakes that could possibly be made. Everyone, I'm going to give simple and vague, but helpful hints.
You have to pull down the lock when done. The combination is hidden on a photo. You can pick up the "welcome class" banner". There is a way to open the desk in the classroom. Pull down on lock. One last thing, PULL DOWN ON THE LOCK, DOWN. DOWN BUTTON. ON LOCK. DOWN. PULL. Also, pick up banner
