Reviews for "Great: The Show"

omg i never knew!! brownie!! omg my life has changed forever ever since i watched this

you are correct by doing nothing productive

Awesomely random and randomly awesome! BTW, did I just see a Legend of the White Lion reference!?

Tried to hard to be funny and didn't try hard enough to make smooth animation.

Not bad. But not great, either. Extremely random. But not all in a good way. The art seemed to take a step back from some of your other videos. Still good by regular NMewgrounds standards. Just not exactly spectacular. After the Sphinx part I thought the humor dropped off quite a bit. The rest of the stuff didn't hold up the same way. The Brownie line was ok I guess. IMO, you spent too much time on it. I thought a quicker delivery might have made it funnier. Timing is very important in comedy, especially when you are trying to be random. I felt like the whole video could have had better timing after the Sphinx part. To be fair, I thought the timing in the Sphinx part was quite good.

Speaking of the Sphinx part, the audio was too quiet. I couldn't hear it well enough. So I turned my volume up. Then directly after that, I found the volume was too loud on the other segments in comparison. So I had to turn it back to normal. Yeah, the audio in your video was not balanced at all. I would recommend fixing that. And if for some reason you did that on purpose for comedic effect, it didn't add anything here. I thought it did quite the opposite in taking away from the best segment.

So for a score, I give you a 6 out of 10 or 3/5. It's decent enough. it's just not exactly great. IMO, it seemed kind of lazy compared to some of your other works, which I enjoyed much more. Perhaps that is due to the time it took to release this. It came out a lot quicker than I expected considering how recent your last release was. Perhaps with speed you sacrifice some quality.
