Everybody knows the black man always dies first. Have more than two black men in one place at the same time is more scary to white people than any zombie.

Actually, Mematron, Busta Rhymes survived one of the Halloween movies before they had to reboot the whole franchise under Rob Zombie. Really, the rub here is that you have to be a rapper in a horror movie... then you can get it written into your contract that you have to survive whatever's going on.
But even LL Cool J was an example of the "two black men can't live through a horror scenario" trope, because remember that he only survived Deep Blue Sea because Samuel L. Jackson died hilariously earlier in that movie.
I guess back people taste like chocolate for zombies.
