Actually, Mematron, Busta Rhymes survived one of the Halloween movies before they had to reboot the whole franchise under Rob Zombie. Really, the rub here is that you have to be a rapper in a horror movie... then you can get it written into your contract that you have to survive whatever's going on.
But even LL Cool J was an example of the "two black men can't live through a horror scenario" trope, because remember that he only survived Deep Blue Sea because Samuel L. Jackson died hilariously earlier in that movie.

I think that LL Cool J is the only black guy that's been in horror films that didn't die. They need to make a horror show where the main character is black so that he or she has built-in protection.
