Reviews for "Mad Day"

5 Stars!

cool and fun game!

I cant play the game ??

Beat the game with Plan # 20 for a total of 12,767 miles. FLUFFY!!

Nice game, fun "run-and-gun" genre, really great attention to detail (the cityscape backgrounds, for instance, are works of art). Keep doing what you're doing!

I see a number of player review comments about loading screens; I waited once for the game to load / ad to play, then the first time I played the stage it took maybe 10 seconds to load, and thereafter my load times were pretty much non-existent. So no problem on my end (Windows 7 running Internet Explorer 11).

Boss battle hint: spam both "X" and the Up Arrow for twice the firing speed. For this reason, the Afro hat is also better in boss fights than the Tank hat (firing speed isn't a question during boss fights).

Menu hint: look around Bob's garage between games for random appearances of power-ups you can click to collect as well as the Amigo hat (randomly appears in the garage menu between stage runs).

"Game Man" mini-game prizes hint: here are the various shape formations (they can appear rotated or flipped, think like Tetris pieces)

Lightning bolt (speed)

LLL

Magnet

MM
_MM

Heart (continue)

HH
H_H

Rockets (triple-fire)

Feedback for the developer:

I noticed that while Bob is on foot, he can effectively 'double-jump' if you spam jump near stairs or up-inclines as this allows to stack upward velocity while the game still registers your character as "grounded" and therefore able to add jump speed.

I figured there would be something special that happens when you finally destroy the green mutant bunny-rabbit 'Chupacabra' enemy without bouncing it out of the way, but as far as I can tell it's just an inert enemy / nothing special.

The repair, speed, and fire power bonuses are nice, though I can hardly tell what fire power does other than the logo of crossing swords because it lasts so short and only in front of soft enemies to begin with. FAKE EDIT: Okay so I read in game title screen, the help box does identify this power up as "Berserker" which gives your car an ability to crush enemies without being damaged. Guess I should have found that "?" section sooner. Though this box also shows a "Heal" bonus (different from the repair bonus), which "recovers 33% of your hero heals" (?)

The third boss seemed disproportionately difficult; it took me a half-dozen tries to get past him whereas by the time I got to the fourth boss I breezed right on through.

Lastly, I've earned all the medals except for the Veteran medal ("restart the game 15 times") -- I've tried re-loading the web page several times as well as clearing and re-starting a save slot game, though this medal counter still shows at 0 of 15. Is there some kind of prestige system, or how does this last medal work?

cool game, sadly third part never came out :(
