Reviews for "Kallaz"

I started out really liking this game - the colour gimmick was creatively applied and it never became stagnant during my endeavors. However, I encountered a glitch that locks the game into an infinite loop. I dont know if there's a map, but it happened when I got to the room with multiple'cannons' firing coloured projectiles from the ceiling - roughly 5-10 minutes into the game. I turned myself blue because I could see that the projectiles were blue, but they still disintegrated me. When the screen faded to black, the game started moving left to right through the past room. I knew this was alright because it was how I would get to the last save point. Problem was, when the game scrolled to the save point, the screen just faded to black and reset. None of the buttons worked and I can't play the game beyond what I presume is an early segment because of this glitch. The game is just infinitely scrolling left to right through this one room. I'm not sure if you are aware of this glitch or if you will even be able to reproduce it, but I thought you should know since I liked this game. I want to rate it higher, but I can't because I don't know what the game is like beyond the earliest parts.

Argh, that sounds bad :/ It's near the end, though (it's really a SHORT game/demo made in a short time as an exercise).
I tried reproducing the glitch, but everything works fine for me no matter how often I try getting hit while changing colors.
You could delete your save state that you can find in the following folder (works for me, at least):
C:\Users\"YOU"\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\"SOME_NUMBER"\uploads.ungrounded.net\"NUMBERS_1"\"NUMBERS_2"_kallaz-v1-0.swf

Replace "YOU" with your Windows user's name. The "SOME_NUMBER" are unique to you, I think. Look for a folder in there with a number where a file with "kallaz-v1-0.swf" in the name is and delete every file.
Sorry for the hassle and thanks for the feedback!

Fun game with much potential but far too short and far too easy. None of the levels felt the least bit challenging.

nice game, plays preety smooth and its ok jumping, i wish it was a little longer, but to top it of it was ok demo, i hope you make more games like this in the future

Final Fantasy VII Submarine inspired Main Theme, right? I like It.

- Short Game.
- No Story.
- The color switch thing gets played out.
- Slightly sticky controls when jumping.

+ Great Music.
+ Good Atmosphere.

I would like to see this game get more environments, enemies, weapons, an interesting story and characters.

Thanks for sharing your game.

Thanks for the feedback!
Well, it was supposed to be just a short, simple game and have no story, as I don't think every game needs much story exposition through text/dialog^^
The jumping bug is annoying indeed. Couldn't fix it in time, unfortunately.

Hehe, you're right about the title theme! Was listening to the soundtrack again while I was finishing the project. You can find a nod to another PS1 game in the dungeon music, though it's not as obvious ;)

Very cool and polished!
