For everyone unable to gather gold: You need to upgrade your luck to get a percent chance for gold to drop. 1 level of Luck = 1% chance the monster drops its gold on death.
In my opinion the rogue is the best with the +30% to crit each level. Crit becomes far superior to raw damage once you max it. My leveling goes: 15 luck, max crit rate, get 50 more in luck (75%), crit dmg, then normal damage. Attack speed becomes pointless to upgrade until the end since this really isn't an idling game but more a clicking grindfest.

if armor is higher than damage you're dealing, the enemy takes no damage.
health increases on slimes, armor increases on snails, again health increases on slimors and so on.
I love the gameplay, scenery, and playable characters. The only problem is that the medals don't always trigger for me. Even when they do, I may or may not see them on my profile. For instance, the first time I reached enemy 43, medal 2 didn't load. When I went back, it did pop up, but it was still locked! Then when I did it again, the medal showed up, and I finally unlocked it (likewise for medal 8)! It's happening to some other users I see, too! I sure hope this issue is fixed very soon. :(
