The animation is pretty good. The ways the Pokemon did their attacks were pretty original--I really liked that. Unfortunately, I'm a little off-put by the cliches in this video. I counted at least three instances of the ancient "determined smile and 'heh' noise." I don't know if Red always had shade masking his eyes in the manga series, but that's a cliche I'm tired of seeing too.
Overall, though, it's pretty good and there's no other development critiques to make that I can think of. I noticed, for example, that when a character in this video shouts, the voice actor was actually *shouting,* as opposed to "making it sound like he was shouting."
