Solid game that meshed well with my own memories of childhood. Only complaint is that there are some sections that are a bit trial and error, such as the final enemy.

Really good game, controls a bit harder and opening eyes long, but I was scared! :-) good job
Spooky as hell. The whole "close you eyes" mechanic just brings back a lot of uncomfortable childhood moments... perhaps even a few adult ones. The graphics are cartoony but effective, and the sounds are great. The "witch" sound was definitely creepy. And that closed eye was so up-close and fleshy that one can't help but think of visceral, scary things. Secret achievements increase replayability.
In spite of making this slightly tongue-in-cheek and bit light you've managed to capture the darker psychology behind the concept. Only suggestion: I almost wish you'd put in some jump scares that triggered upon being caught just to make failure that more frightening.
