Reviews for "Ninja Yubi"

great game but it needs hotkeys for the abilitys .

Evil-Dog responds:

Yup coming in the next update

Fun lil game. I'm looking forward to Range of the Dead 2 though.

Evil-Dog responds:

Awesome, Ninja Yubi 2 will be cool too I have many ideas for it. Same as range of the dead, they're both super simple concept that get too repetitive, but it's a good basis to make something much bigger.
Fun fact, Ninja yubi was 75% made by an intern I had hired, I have another game made by another intern that I need to finish and wrap up.

Great. I was quite disappointed when you released Range of the Dead, but this has restored a lot of my faith in you!
I can see it getting addictive, even if the upgrades aren't all that fun and using spells should be more accessible. It's clearly designed to be playable through touch, which makes it a little wonky trying to play it with a mouse, but it's alright.

My only 2 complaints is that the game gets a little redundant and there isn't much of a reward factor to make up for it, as "more lives" doesn't feel satisfying as an upgrade.
You want to feel like you're growing stronger and more skillful, not padding yourself with "noob friendly" extra chances allowing yourself to fail more.
On a small side note, I think the "along" slash is ridiculously irresponsive compared to the other two, which made the difficulty kind of random when a lot of these appeared. I recommend increasing the hitbox.

I have a lot of ideas for making this game more entertaining and complex, but none of them would work very well as a mobile app game, which is clearly what you were aiming for here.
Regardless, congratulations, you made a great little "fruit ninja" game and with the right publicity I bet you could sell a few copies.

Ps. Range of the Dead was terrible, unoriginal, repetitive and had literally no learning curve or skill requirement whatsoever, why are you planning a sequel?

Evil-Dog responds:

Do PM me your ideas for ninja yubi, you never know.
And Range is not terrible, it had great success on mobile. And it is original, there's not much games like that out there. Repetitive yes I'll give you that, no learning curve, I'll have to disagree.
Sequel would be pretty different and intense and much bigger, still a mobile game though.

You made it in Unity, cool! Why you don`t compile it to FirefoxOs and Windows Phone?

of course, good job as always....

Evil-Dog responds:

FirefoxOs does unity do that?
Windows Phone i can't, I need windows 8, I'll get it sometime

Fun game to spend some time with.

I was listening to the voices and thinking, "Gee, they sound like and say almost the same things as the characters in Hippolyta." Then I realized that the same people made both games. Guess that explains it!

Evil-Dog responds:

Bwahaha totally
