Great. I was quite disappointed when you released Range of the Dead, but this has restored a lot of my faith in you!
I can see it getting addictive, even if the upgrades aren't all that fun and using spells should be more accessible. It's clearly designed to be playable through touch, which makes it a little wonky trying to play it with a mouse, but it's alright.
My only 2 complaints is that the game gets a little redundant and there isn't much of a reward factor to make up for it, as "more lives" doesn't feel satisfying as an upgrade.
You want to feel like you're growing stronger and more skillful, not padding yourself with "noob friendly" extra chances allowing yourself to fail more.
On a small side note, I think the "along" slash is ridiculously irresponsive compared to the other two, which made the difficulty kind of random when a lot of these appeared. I recommend increasing the hitbox.
I have a lot of ideas for making this game more entertaining and complex, but none of them would work very well as a mobile app game, which is clearly what you were aiming for here.
Regardless, congratulations, you made a great little "fruit ninja" game and with the right publicity I bet you could sell a few copies.
Ps. Range of the Dead was terrible, unoriginal, repetitive and had literally no learning curve or skill requirement whatsoever, why are you planning a sequel?
