Neat concept along with a pretty solid game for only four hours of work. Would love to see it built upon into something longer and more challenging.

Really not sure why people are hating on this game. Sure, the hammer mechanic is totally unnecessary, but hitting things isn't the main focus anyway. The game was quite easy but it still felt rewarding to get to the end of the level.
Simple as they were I liked the graphics and animation. Seemed like a neat concept, switching between worlds/layers. I liked how you could see other layers of the world in the background.
Couple criticisms though:
* Controls - The controls weren't really tough to master. But I can't figure out why designers who use the arrow keys to move left and right insist on some other non-arrow key for jumping, when there's a perfectly good UP arrow right there.
* Music - That slightly wobbling, off key music was almost painful to listen to. With a big slammy hammer, how about something a little more epic or Viking-ish?
* Not much there - Although the concept was neat, there didn't seem much challenge or problem-solving aspect to the game. Wish it had been a little more involved. Something more for that hammer to actually do for instance. But I guess the crowd booing was a self deprecating jab at this point.
I really liked this for some reason. i enjoyed the well done but simple graphics and background. Some will call me a liar or an idiot, but i also very much enjoyed the music. Keep up the good work!

BUT
I would love for this to be made in to a whole game, obviously with more time put into it I know you could get this game nice and polished, and hell maybe even challenging.
