This game has much room for improvement. I find the whole process of farming experience and gold quite irritating. Some RPG players call this "grinding", where one must continue to level up in the same location with the same enemies without making progress in the story. Might I add, earning gold is even harder. Perhaps there's a really low chance I'll earn just one gold piece from killing a spider or a rat. I only have 4 as of writing this review.
I may be missing out on a lot, but I kinda doubt it. Grinding experience and gold for the purpose of paying my liege 10,000 gold to have my sister released isn't a very exciting plot. My personal generalization of an RPG (which stands for role-playing game) does include the whole thing about leveling up and stuff, but I see most RPGs as games with deep stories, generally through dialogue.
Aside from grinding and stories, the core gameplay in itself is a bit too simplistic for the likes of most Newgrounds players. All that I can really do is click, click, clickety clack, and click to kill, just to make progress. There's nothing in between. Perhaps such a gameplay style as this simply doesn't work... so it wouldn't hurt for you to try to use a completely different basis for your gameplay mechanics.
At the very least, saving my game shouldn't be reserved exclusively for the mobile version. I don't have an Android device, and I don't plan on buying one too soon, so I think it's only fair the Newgrounds version of this game should allow saving as well. If you don't know how to do it, there's plenty of fellow Newgrounds programmers that can help you. You could start off by asking a question in the "Developers and Programmers" category of forums in the Newgrounds BBS, or refer to the "Creator Resources" in the Newgrounds Wiki. You can start finding both of these under the "Community" tab.
