apparently the shadow by the bed was YOU the player all along hence the ending that you were the monster one of the shadow people who was standing by the bed wanting to possess the human sleeping on it and all the things you went through was nothing but the human's dreams wanting to wake up from his nightmare

very good dude. played all the series, it make much sense and give great ideas... actually I could belive it's a way to see most of humans life itself. I will try deep sleep somehow ;)
not bad, not bad at all. my only tip is too maybe make a few spin off games that tell a further history of the dark ones. great game. the monsters are creepy too.
